Working on a New Rey

Star Wars is by far the better franchise between Star Wars and Star Trek BUT they did make episodes 1, 2, and 3 which are not the greatest and should be burned! Luckily, Disney made The Force Awakens which was considerably better than the first three combined. I’m old school so I like episodes 4, 5, and 6 which were the originals. The technology in those early movies is so outdated! I still love A New Hope, The Empire Strikes Back (the BEST in the series) and Return of the Jedi even with all that outdated tech. This year we get the last of the movies that hand over the mantle to the new actors of the franchise and say goodbye to Princess Leia officially.

For the Tucson Comic con I’m working on a new print of Rey. Here is what I have so far. I like the pose and the facial features. I’m moving away from drawing the pure comic character and trying to make the image resemble the actress. I think I may ink this one and make it a coloring page as well as a new print.

Finally Saw Endgame!

Yes, it has been this long since I saw Avengers: Endgame. Wow, what a crazy film! I was surprised that Thanos destroyed the Infinity Stones and life went on all dreary for about 5 years until Scott Lang came out of subatomic space to save the day with time travel. (I did go see Ant Man and the Wasp, which was pretty good.) I didn’t know that Vision was truly out of the game for good once that stone was destroyed. I also didn’t expect that EVERYONE who has EVER been in a Marvel film was basically in this one. It was like movie star homecoming!

Thanos! What a villain?!?! He destroys half of all life in the universe and then tries to do it again! What does that mean? A new Thanos coloring page! A big baddie like that deserves another go. Only this time I’m going to draw that incredible double edged sword he fought with in the movie in my dra. I may have to do a Black Widow as well to memorialize the awesome job Scarlett Johansson did in the role.

Here is another Iron Man coloring page since Tony Stark saved the world, again!

New Coloring Page: Thanos

Believe it or not I still haven’t gone to the movies and watched “Avengers Endgame”. But that won’t stop me from making a new coloring page of the universe’s current bad boy, Thanos. In fact, this was a request from Blair in Indiana! Here it is! I really had a lot of fun drawing this one. I especially liked emphasizing the Infinity Gauntlet. I decided to do a crossover of the movie version of Thanos with the comic book version.

I’m always pleased to hear that my art is enjoyed and appreciated. If you have a suggestion for a coloring page let me know in the comments or e-mail.

Am I My Brother’s Keeper? Super Mario Brothers Coloring Pages

YES! If you play Super Mario Brothers or know anything about the video game franchise these two brothers are as thick-as-thieves. I mean Goombas, Koopa Troopas, Piranha Plants, etc. I can’t even list all the things these two have had to endure! And through it all they stay family. Anyway, for this particular coloring page release I’m doing a two-for-one special: two brothers, one release.

These two were pretty much already chibi but I added the ‘Vanquish touch’ to them. Enjoy!
